For a BYD Shark 6, start by comparing ROH Assault, Crawler and Atlas in 18x9 +25. Those are the documented recommended examples checked here. The 17-inch starting point used for several other utes in this series does not apply to these Shark 6 tables.

This guide covers Australian Shark 6, using ROH's 2025-onwards application. Other BYD models and imported-market versions are excluded. Confirm the exact vehicle and any brake or suspension changes.

Which ROH designs should you compare?

ROH Assault: Our first visual comparison if you want a fuller wheel face and a more substantial-looking build. Compare black and bronze against the Shark's actual paint. Check the Assault application.

ROH Crawler: Try the mesh design if you prefer more wheel detail. Matte Black and Machined are different visual directions, with the exact finish confirmed for the part you order. Check the Crawler application.

ROH Atlas: Worth comparing if you want an angular wheel face. Its graphite finish offers another contrast level alongside the ute's trim and accessories. Check the Atlas application.

These are Nordak styling preferences. The specification still has to suit your Shark 6.

Fitment examples for the Shark 6

The following rows are marked 'Recommended' in ROH's selected vehicle tables, checked on 9 October 2026. Follow each wheel link for the exact application and finish availability.

WheelSizeStud patternOffsetLoad per wheelROH label
Assault18x96x139.7+25 mm1500 kgRecommended
Crawler18x96x139.7+25 mm1500 kgRecommended
Atlas18x96x139.7+25 mm1500 kgRecommended

All three examples use 6x139.7 and carry a published 1500 kg per-wheel rating. That agreement makes the visual comparison easier, but it does not approve your existing tyres on a nine-inch rim. ROH's tables do not give the 17-inch versions a recommended status for this application.

ROH's labels are manufacturer guidance for the selected application. They do not approve every tyre, modified suspension setup or registration requirement.

Start with the 18-inch package

Have the supplier confirm the exact 18-inch wheel and tyre combination, including brakes, hub attachment and the spare. We would compare the designs at a similar tyre size first so the finish decision stays clear. Do not assume changing wheels alone improves ride, efficiency or load capacity; those claims are not established by a product listing or a Nordak image.

Before you order

Have your supplier confirm the part number and finish, hub attachment, wheel hardware, brake clearance and tyre-to-rim suitability. Check clearance through steering and suspension movement, plus the load requirements for your vehicle and any certified modifications.

VSB 14 Section LS covers wheel attachment and clearance. Check the rules where your Shark 6 is registered; the national code does not replace local requirements.
