Common questions
- What is a vehicle visualizer?
- A vehicle visualizer shows what an upgrade looks like on a specific vehicle before it is bought. Nordak works from a photo you upload rather than a stock image of the model, so wheels, tyres, lifts, bull bars, canopies, roof racks and snorkels appear on your own paint colour, trim and ride height.
- Which upgrades can I see on my vehicle?
- Seven categories: wheels, tyres, lift kits, bull bars, canopies and trays, roof racks and snorkels. Each has its own page with the brands currently in the catalogue, and several can be combined in one image.
- Does it work on a ute, a bakkie or a pickup?
- They are the same vehicle and Nordak treats them the same way. Ute in Australia and New Zealand, bakkie in South Africa, pickup or truck in North America, pickup in the UK. Nordak works from your photo rather than a fixed model list, so a HiLux, a Ranger, a Tacoma or a D-MAX all work the same way, single cab or dual cab, tub or tray.
- What about wagons and 4x4s that are not pickups?
- Wagons work for everything except trays and canopies, which need a pickup body. A Patrol, a LandCruiser, a 4Runner or a Tank 300 can all take wheels, tyres, a lift, a bull bar, a roof rack and a snorkel.
- Can I see what my vehicle looks like kitted out?
- That is the whole point of it. Kitted out, decked out, built, lifted, an off-road build or a full touring setup all describe the same thing: a stock vehicle with real gear on it. Nordak lets you stack a lift, larger tyres, a bull bar, a canopy, a roof rack and a snorkel into one image so you can see the finished thing rather than one part at a time.
- Do I need an account to try it?
- No account is needed to start. You get one free build in total, as a guest or on your account. Creating an account does not reset it. Buy more builds when you need them, with no subscription.
- Does Nordak confirm that a part will fit my vehicle?
- No. Nordak shows appearance only. Diameter, width, offset, bolt pattern, load rating, clearance and legal compliance all need confirming against your exact year and variant with a qualified supplier.
