If you are wondering what your truck would look like lifted, upload a clear photo to Nordak and compare the ride heights on the truck you already own. The lift kit visualiser offers 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 inch visual lifts plus a separate nose-high stance.

That is more useful than judging somebody else's build. Your paint colour, cab, tray, canopy, wheels and tyres all change how tall a lift looks. A height that feels balanced on one truck can look too subtle or too aggressive on another.

Nordak shows appearance only. It does not tell you which suspension kit fits, what is legal where you live or whether the finished truck has enough clearance. Use the image to choose a direction, then take that direction to a qualified suspension specialist.

What the lift kit visualizer can show

Nordak gives you six complete ride-height choices:

  • 1 inch: a subtle change that keeps the truck close to its photographed stance.
  • 2 inches: a purposeful lift with a clear increase in tyre-to-arch gap.
  • 3 inches: an unmistakably modified look without moving into the tallest option.
  • 4 inches: a much taller body position that changes the whole side profile.
  • 5 inches: the most aggressive even lift in the current visualiser.
  • Nose high: the front suspension rises while the rear suspension drops, creating a deliberate front-up rake.

The 1 to 5 inch presets raise the front and rear evenly. Nose high is not another lift height. It is a stance choice with a strong difference between the two ends.

The current rendering instruction also asks for every visible front and rear tyre to stay planted on the floor, with no visible air gap. The cab, chassis and any fitted tub, tray or canopy should remain aligned as one truck rather than bending into the stance.

How a truck lift visualizer works

Start with a full side or three-quarter photograph. Keep the whole truck in frame, including every visible tyre and the ground beneath it. Even light and a level surface make ride height easier to judge.

Open the lift kit visualizer, add your photo and choose one ride-height option. Nordak creates the new stance on your own truck while preserving its identity and surroundings as closely as the image allows.

Then compare the result with the original. The before-and-after vehicle may not line up perfectly because the requested body height has changed. Judge the arch gap, sill line, tray angle and the relationship between the front and rear body heights rather than expecting the roofline to remain in the same place.

What would a 2 inch or 3 inch lift look like?

This is the decision most owners struggle to make from measurements alone.

A 2 inch lift usually reads as a purposeful change without dominating the rest of the build. A 3 inch lift creates a more obvious gap between the tyres and arches and makes the suspension change one of the first things you notice.

That does not make one better. Larger tyres can visually fill the extra arch space. Small factory tyres can make the same lift look taller than expected. A heavy tray or canopy changes the proportions again, even before anyone discusses what the real suspension must carry.

Compare the heights with the tyre size and rear body you actually want. A lift decision made against a bare stock truck may look completely different once the finished touring setup is on it.

What does nose high look like?

Nose high creates an aggressive front-up rake. Nordak lifts the front suspension and drops the rear suspension in the visual result, while keeping the truck joined as one straight structure.

The supplied Ranger image at the top of this guide shows why the distinction matters. The front wheel arch sits visibly higher while the rear settles lower, but the cab, chassis, tray and canopy still read as one vehicle. Both tyres remain in direct contact with the workshop floor.

This is a style preview, not a recommendation to reproduce the stance mechanically. A real truck carrying tools, water, recovery gear or a full canopy needs a suspension setup designed around its actual axle loads and intended use.

Compare the complete build, not the lift alone

Ride height rarely gets chosen in isolation. It affects how every other visual decision reads.

  • Wheels: the same wheel can look smaller once the body moves higher.
  • Tyres: a larger overall diameter fills more of the new arch gap.
  • Tray or canopy: rear-body mass changes the visual balance between the front and rear.
  • Bull bar and roof gear: extra visual weight can make a subtle lift feel more coherent.

Nordak lets you combine the ride height with supported wheels, tyres, trays, canopies and accessories in the same build. When ride height is selected, that stance takes priority over preserving the photographed stance. The chosen parts still need to remain recognisable and properly attached.

What the image cannot tell you

A truck lift kit visualizer answers one question: do I like this height and stance on my truck? It cannot answer the engineering questions that follow.

Before buying, confirm:

  1. The suspension kit is designed for your exact make, model, year, variant and axle loads.
  2. Wheel alignment, steering, braking and driveline angles remain within the installer's requirements.
  3. Tyres clear the body and suspension through full steering and suspension travel.
  4. The completed height, tyre diameter and track comply with the current rules where the truck is registered.
  5. The setup suits the load the truck will actually carry, not only how it sits empty.

For Australian vehicles, Vehicle Standards Bulletin 14 contains the national technical framework for light-vehicle modifications. State and territory registration authorities administer their own requirements, so there is no responsible universal claim that a displayed height is automatically legal.
